Who We Are

In August 2005, Pastor Rob Hudelson came to the Phoenix valley to begin working with Pastor Jason Young of Heritage Baptist Church, which is located on the west side of the Phoenix valley. The goal was to plant a church on the east side of the valley. After much prayer and fasting, Legacy Baptist Church was born on January 8, 2006.

Our desire for pleasing Christ above all compels us to have a concern for every person’s eternal state. Although our church presently consists mainly of families, any visitor, of any social status would find a group of people ready to welcome them.

Legacy Baptist Church has broken the traditional church mold. We have intentionally created opportunities for fathers to take the lead role in the home and the church. A visitor should not be surprised when they find fathers sharing from the Bible, lessons that he has taught his family in the previous week. Our families meet together for the worship service, where the parents have the opportunity to be more directly involved in the teaching and training of their children.

Ultimately Legacy Baptist Church is not “about us”, it is about Jesus. Because Christ is our first priority, other people become our second priority. Therefore, we have a genuine interest in you. If you have a prayer concern, or would like some more information about Legacy Baptist Church, please use the “Contact Us” page to let us know more about you.
